Darcy Bell

Darcy Astoria Bell, age 14, left the confines of the earthly realm to be in the eternal presence of her Creator Saturday October 19 following a brief illness. She will be met in the afterlife by her sisters Alfie, Sabine, Woody, Griffin and Tessa. 

Left to cherish her memory are her human parents John and Cynthia Bell. Darcy appeared in the Bell's front yard one day 12 years ago and after they realized she had no home they took her in. She never had any interest in going outside again. 

Darcy had such a sweet gentle Spirit about her. As any proper Southern lady would do, she was always cordial to guests, sitting beside them on the sofa. She always made sure to sit next to her good friend Aunt Kiwainia.

Her favorite thing in the evenings was to curl up on a blanket in Cynthia's lap and watch TV. And every night when John was ready for bed she would always walk ahead of him, leading the way in case he got lost. 

When "Mom and Dad" went out of town she always looked forward to Miss Angela and Jasmine when they would come to take care of her. 

Darcy Bell led a long and healthy life for 12 years without a care in the world. We should all be so fortunate. 

May she be carried on Angel's wings into the open arms of God.
